Nicky Willemsen


Nicky is a lawyer in the IP, IT & Privacy team. She specialises in protecting and enforcing intellectual property rights. From her expertise, Nicky contributes to stimulating and protecting responsible innovation.
In addition to intellectual property, Nicky also deals with organisations in the legal implementation of AI and the drafting and negotiation of IT contracts. Nicky combines specialist knowledge with a practical and accessible way of advising, enabling immediate practical application for clients.

Experience and background

Nicky has been working at TK since 2024. She obtained her master's degree in European Intellectual Property Law from Stockholm University. In addition to her law studies, Nicky also completed a Bachelor of Arts in media studies.
Previously, Nicky was a lawyer at an international law firm and an enforcement lawyer at the media regulator the Media Authority (Commissariaat voor de Media).
