Edward van Lent

Edward is a lawyer and partner at TK. Property developers, construction companies, housing associations, healthcare institutions, investors and estate agents can turn to Edward for advice on buying, renting and property development. He also supports companies in financial difficulties and is regularly appointed by courts as receiver.

Within TK, he leads the Real Estate sector team and is active in the expertise teams Real Estate and Project Development and Insolvencies and Restructuring.

Edward joined TK in 1996 and was sworn in as a lawyer in 1997. He studied Dutch law at Leiden University and attended the Insolad specialisation course at the Grotius Academy, the post-graduate course Financial Economics for Insolvency Lawyers at Erasmus University and Insolad's biennial follow-up courses.

I work hands-on and go for practical solutions for my clients so that they can move on quickly. Where necessary, I assist my clients in proceedings before courts, tribunals and the Arbitration Council for Construction.

Edward is registered with the Dutch Bar Association in the following areas of law:

Pursuant to this registration, he is obliged to obtain ten training points each calendar year for each area of law, in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
