Dominique Beerenfenger

Dominique is a lawyer in the Corporate & Commercial Litigation team. He specialises in (international) dispute resolution. Dominique acts on behalf of domestic and foreign companies, which means he frequently collaborates with solicitors from other jurisdictions and has experience with European regulations and international treaties. In addition, Dominique specialises in public procurement law, advising and acting on behalf of both contracting authorities and tenderers/contractors.

Dominique has been working at TK since 2022. He obtained both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees (in business law) from Leiden University. Before joining TK, Dominique ran his own business.

• Successful representation of shareholders and certificate holders in disputes concerning control, dividend payments, funding rounds, the blocking of voting rights, earn-outs, mandatory offer obligations and ‘good & bad leaver’ provisions.
  
• Representation of retailers in international disputes, resulting in settlements that resolved the conflicts whilst preserving commercial relationships.
  
• The imposition of national and international attachments and successful defence in proceedings to lift such attachments.
  
• European order for payment proceedings and international debt collection.
  
• Appointed as secretary to the binding adviser on (public procurement law) matters.
  
• Successfully managing tender procedures, tactical tendering and conducting summary proceedings in public procurement law.

Dominique is registered with the Netherlands Bar Association in the following area of law:

• Company law

Under the terms of this registration, he is required to earn ten continuing professional development points each calendar year in this area of law, in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
