Rik Kamps

Rik Kamps specialises in notarial corporate law with a focus on the (re)structuring of legal entities, governance within legal entities and advice at the intersection of corporate and family law. His clients include healthcare and educational institutions, corporate finance firms, tax specialists, lawyers and accountants, as well as large SMEs and (international) companies and institutions.

Rik is a director of TK Notaries, leading the Notarial Corporate Law expertise team and the Family Business sector team. He is also a qualified legal mediator, with an emphasis on mediating disputes between directors and/or shareholders.

For many years, Rik was a lecturer in corporate law at the professional Notarial Training Programme and Leiden University. He is involved in or associated with many voluntary organisations as a legal advisor or board member.

Rik has been associated with TK since 1990. He studied notarial law at Radboud University Nijmegen. He then took various specialist courses in corporate law. Rik was appointed civil-law notary in 1999.
